I consider myself lucky … to be able to travel the world from the comfort of my home in Seattle (with three little ones running underfoot!) while working with some of the finest travel companies in existence. For 15 years now, I’ve successfully combined my “word nerd” tendencies with my passion for travel, churning out copy for an annual 400-page hotel directory, countless direct mail brochures, email newsletters and more, and editing travel and hiking guides for the country’s top travel publishing houses.
Before going freelance, I worked in several editorial capacities (from editorial assistant to associate editorial director) at Virtuoso, a renowned travel consortium, where I managed the same types of project I now write and edit.
